Happy Halloween!

Mommy loves monkeys.  When Daddy and I were in California, Grandma Greene's friend told her that she saw a Paul Frank, Julius monkey custom at Target. Turns out it was a sock monkey costume . . . but we love it too!
On the Wednesday before Halloween we went to the church Halloween party.  Mommy and I walked in the parade of costumes, even though Mommy wasn't dressed up.  We saw another baby who was dressed up like a monkey and his Mommy was a banana!
On Halloween day I had my four month check up.  The doctors says I am doing great, just still a little on the small side.  I am only in the 14th percentile for weight now at 13 lbs. 15 oz., but still going strong in the height category, coming in at the 83rd percentile at 26 inches!  I had to get four shots, hence the tazmanian devil band aids on my legs.  I only cried for less than a minute though!
Later Mommy and I went to visit Daddy at work.  We brought them fudge brownies.  The mall was handing out candy so there were lots of other kids.  People kept saying how cute I was as Mommy pushed me around in my stroller.  I sat in it for the first time without my car seat, like a big boy!
It was a great First Halloween!!!

Weekend with Daddy!

Daddy and I went to California last weekend... yes without Mommy.  She missed me so much (she couldn't even sleep at night), and I missed her too.

We had a lot of fun though.  We went to two football games, the homecoming game at Heritage and Uncle Jeffrey's game.  I spent Friday with my Mimi and Papa, and they were so happy to see me.  We also went to dinner with the Hyder's and went to Sausalito to Auntie Staci and Uncle Toms.

It was a good bonding experience for Daddy and me.  He had to wake up at night and feed me and everything.  Even though Mommy said he wasn't getting a true taste of what she went through since I sleep through the night now, ha ha!

We had a great time, but Mommy was very glad when we got home.  She brought me a rose to the airport (Daddy reminded her that I am a boy), and she made Daddy and I a welcome home cake.

Look at me, I'm three... months that is!

I started to show a lot more personality this month.  I love to smile at my funny Mommy and Daddy.  I have even laughed at them a couple times.

I have grown a lot.  Mommy and Daddy measured me and marked it on the door frame in our apartment and I am 25 inches.  I'm not sure how much I weight because I don't go to the doctor until I'm four months.

Oh, and I rolled over from my back to my tummy once... that was an accomplishment!

Mommy and Me!

Mommy and I spend everyday together.  She takes care of me:  she feeds me, clothes, me, bathes me, and loves on me.  Mommy calls me all kinds of silly names, like Boo Boo, but I don't mind.  She loves to sing to me and talk to me, even though she knows I can't talk back she doesn't seem to mind.  I go everywhere with Mommy, even to her creative writing class on Thursdays.  I'm a good boy there, so her teacher doesn't mind.  Mommy likes to write poetry about me and I will love to read them one day.  She is great at taking pictures and capturing memories for me to always cherish.  Mommy is very special to me, and I know that I am MOST special to her!!

Like Father, Like Son!

I love spending time with my Daddy.  He works a lot to provide for me and Mommy, so the time I have with him I cherish.

I Love My Grandparents!!!

I am such a lucky little boy to have to sets of wonderful grandparents.  I just wish I lived in the same state with them and could see them every day.  But Mommy and Daddy tell me that they are working hard to get done with school so we can move back to California and be around all of my amazing family!

Two Months Already!

At my two month check up my doctor was
amazed at my growth.  I grew almost four
inches over these last couple months and
am in the 95th percentile.  I'm also gaining
weight like I should be but am still in the
upper 20th percentile.  Just like my daddy,
tall and skinny!!

My neck is getting stronger, so mommy thought that I might like my bebe pod chair.
I was a little shaky, but I liked it.

My favorite seat is my bouncer.  I take excellent  naps here!!

I started to smile near the end of my second month.  But Mommy could never capture it on film.
